Safeguarding at MultiLink

MultiLink Community Services Inc. is committed to promoting and protecting the safety, wellbeing, and human rights of children, young people, and vulnerable people who interact with our organisation. We have zero tolerance for abuse, neglect, exploitation, or misconduct of any kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff, volunteers, contractors, partners, and visitors are expected to act in ways that protect others from harm and to report any concerns or suspected abuse immediately.

We support safeguarding by:

  • Maintaining strong governance, policies, and reporting processes
  • Recruiting and screening staff and volunteers safely
  • Providing mandatory safeguarding training and awareness
  • Assessing and managing risks in our services and environments
  • Ensuring safe practices when working one-on-one with clients or providing transport
  • Responding promptly to concerns, incidents, and disclosures
  • Protecting the privacy of individuals while prioritising safety
  • Supporting whistleblowers to report concerns without fear

MultiLink is committed to creating a culture where people feel safe, respected, and supported, and where concerns about safety are taken seriously and acted on appropriately.
