Neighbourhood & Community Centre Services

MultiLink Community Services is funded through the Queensland State Government as a Multicultural Neighbourhood & Community Centre in Woodridge, identifying and responding to the needs of vulnerable individuals and families in the local Logan community, and providing a universal entry point for information, referral, and direct support for a variety of issues and needs through our Neighbourhood Community Worker and the Community Support team.

Additional Neighbourhood & Community Centre services include:

  • Room hire for the community
  • Community Justices of the Peace (Tuesday and Thursday 2.00pm – 4.00pm)
  • Supporting collaborative community celebrations and events
  • Disaster Resilience and Recovery – dissemination of information, community preparation and training for natural disaster events and cultural and language support to Logan’s diverse communities in times of natural disaster
  • Material Assistance and referral
  • Connecting MultiLink to a variety of networks
  • Advocating for the needs of the Logan community

Community Connect Worker

Funded through the Queensland State Government, MultiLink’s Community Connect Worker facilitates support, information and referrals for individuals and families who are experiencing significant vulnerabilities and complex needs.  MultiLink (as Woodridge’s Multicultural Neighbourhood & Community Centre) serves as a “universal” entry point for people seeking assistance and facilitates connection with local specialist services. The Community Connect Worker provides tailored, short-term support to build skills and capability of service users and to facilitate access to appropriate supports, services required and referrals that will best meet the needs of the service user. MultiLink’s Community Connect Worker is able to provide support across the Logan Local Government Area.
